The Need For Bible Study Have you ever wondered where all the sin and moral decay is going to lead America? Have you ever wondered how you and your loved ones can escape the moral pollution of our generation?
The Bible is the answer. The Psalmist said, Thy word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee (Psalm 119:11). In the parable of the sower, Jesus taught that when the seed of the kingdom, the Word of God, is planted into a good and honest heart, it will produce fruit (Luke 8:11, 15). The Word can change us. It can keep us from sin if we allow it abide in our hearts.
Again it was David who wrote, How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart (Psalm119:1-3). In verse 9 he added, How shall the young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.
We cannot casually read the Bible, and think that it will affect us much. But like David, we must study carefully meditate make application. I should consider how Gods message applies to what I am doing today, and then go out and live it in my life.
It is our hope that we can help you learn more about God, and encourage you in your study of His Will. The Bible can change your life for the better, but only if you open your heart to it.
